About us
Counselling rooted in community.
We're a team of qualified counsellors who believe that where you live shouldn't limit your access to quality mental health support.
Why we do this work
Coast and Country Counsellors was founded on a simple belief: that people in regional, coastal, and country communities deserve the same quality of mental health support as those in major cities.
We've seen first-hand how distance, stigma, and limited local services can prevent people from getting the help they need. That's why we've built a practice that meets people where they are — in person across four locations, and via telehealth for anyone who needs it.
Our therapeutic approach
We draw on a range of evidence-based modalities, always tailored to the individual.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
A structured, practical approach to identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Helping you build psychological flexibility — accepting difficult thoughts and feelings while committing to values-driven action.
Person-Centred Therapy
A warm, non-judgmental approach that places you at the centre of your own healing process.
Mindfulness-Based Approaches
Practical techniques to help you stay grounded, reduce stress, and respond to life's challenges with greater calm.
